Introduction: Strengthening local economies through voucher systems using the example of 'Black Forest Card'

Welcome to our information session about regional voucher systems, in particular about 's 'Black Forest Cards.' At a time when local economies play an important role, it is crucial to use tools that strengthen communities and businesses. In this workshop, you will learn how voucher systems not only offer financial benefits for everyone involved, but can also promote social commitment and cohesion.

13:00 - Welcome and insight into the voucher for the host region 'Schwarzwald Kärtle'
Find out first-hand how the 'Schwarzwald Card voucher' system developed from day 1 and how the regional economy was won over for the concept.

14:00 - Basics of a voucher system (operator model, legal basis)
Get an overview of the basic elements of a voucher system and learn more about the role of operators and the legal aspects.

14:30 - Awiti voucher system - A look behind the scenes of a voucher system including setting up a demo region.
Dive into how the Awiti platform for regional voucher systems works and learn how to set up a successful demo region.

16:00 - Focus on entrepreneurs
Discover the benefits for entrepreneurs and companies through the use of employee vouchers in the region. You can also find out how the entrepreneur portal helps you as an entrepreneur to manage employees and benefits in kind.

Find out how associations can generate donations in the regional voucher system and how every voucher redemption enables support for local projects.

18:00 - participants
As a retailer, restaurateur or service provider, learn about the benefits of becoming a voucher acceptance point and issuer and thus generate additional sales locally for your business.

This time, the event will take place in a very special location: in the beautiful Hofgut Himmelreich. The Hofgut is an integrative institution for people with disabilities who enjoy training in gastronomy there at the Academy and learn the practice directly in the restaurant and in the hotel next door. In this form, the Hofgut is one of the few if not the only institution in Germany, also known through the Vox program Schwarzwälder Hirsch with Tim Mälzer.
