The new voucher system with added value for local providers in Bremen City and Bremen North has been launched.

Also available as a Christmas gift immediately online or directly at local sales outlets. Zukunftsfonds Innenstadt is funding the pilot project and customers with 1.5 million euros.
It has now been available since December 1: the BreMehr, the new voucher with added value for Bremen City and North. You can buy the voucher for yourself or as an ideal Christmas gift online at www.bre-mehr.de as well as in several sales outlets in the two urban areas. In Bremen City, these include the two tourist information offices in the main train station and in Böttcherstraße, HUDDY in Bischofsnadel or Bo Concept. In Bremen North, for example, the BreMehr is available at fashion house Leffers, bookstore Otto und Sohn and the new concept store Annanass. With the purchase of BreMehr, customers not only support local providers in retail, catering, services and culture, but also give themselves or others gifts: In order to mitigate the corona pandemic effects on the central and regional center, the BreMehr is being funded with 1.5 million euros from the City Center Future Fund by The Senator for Economics, Labor and Europe. Each customer receives 21 percent bonus credit when purchasing and redeeming the voucher by 31.03.2022. Customers can find all sales and collection points on the website of BremEhrs and it's getting more every day.
“The voucher helps stationary retailers, which are facing tremendous challenges as a result of the pandemic. Just in time for the run-up to Christmas, this instrument will provide both retailers and customers with a small financial compensation for the difficult corona period,” says Kristina Vogt, Senator for Economics, Labor and Europe. Carolin Reuther, managing director of CityInitiative Bremen Werbung e. V., is also pleased with the realignment of the voucher and the funding from the Senate: “With BreMehr, we have the opportunity to attract more customers to the City of Bremen, in particular stationary retailers, local restaurants and cultural institutions — and that during the Christmas business that is so important for many. A win for all sides.” Jörn Gieschen, managing director of Vegesack Marketing e.V. adds: “Bremen-Norder businessmen are also feeling the consequences of the new 2G regulation. The BreMehr comes at the right time, lures you back into stores, but can also easily be purchased digitally or given away and redeemed at any time later of your choice. ”

The Awiti top-up function allows vouchers to be promoted via top-up and actively supports the sale of vouchers. This promotion can take place directly when the vouchers are purchased or even after certain selection criteria. For example, the redemption of vouchers can be boosted on certain promotional days, such as open Sundays. The top-up function offers flexible settings: campaign periods, distribution value, limits and type of distribution can be set individually. With the promotion, you can actively work against the expiry of vouchers so that all voucher balances are always actually redeemed.
At the start of the voucher system, BreMehr is offering end customers an attractive top-up promotion: With funds from the Zukunftsfonds Innenstadt Purchases, the city of Bremen is subsidizing with 21% bonus credit. This means that customers who purchase a voucher for €100 can use it to spend €121 on retail, catering, services or culture.
BreMehr is a project of CityInitiative Bremen Werbung e.V. and Vegesack Marketing e.V. The bonus credit is funded from the Zukunftsfonds Innenstadt by The Senator for Economics, Labor and Europe.
The BreMehr is available as a plastic card at over 15 issuing offices (as of 10.12.2022), online at www.bre-mehr.de (as a PDF voucher and via email) or as a digital gift card in the BREMEHR web app.
